Needle therapy:Dry needling or needle therapy is beleaved to be one of the most modern way of treatment in physical therapy.Although it is closely related to accupunture(Traditional Chinese medicine)

In Needle Therapy dry needles are used without any kind of medications.In the field of physical therapy Needle Therapy is often used in the treaatment of myofascial muscles.It may be closely related to accupunture but it is different.It’s practice is based on the principles of modern western medicine.
Physical therapists use Needle Therapy for releasing or inactivating trigger points to relieve pain or improve range of motion.Dry needling (1)improves pain control (2) reduces muscle tension (3) and normalizes dysfunctions of the motor end plates(4) the sites at which nerve impulses are transmitted to muscles.
This can help speed up the patient’s return to active rehabilitation
